Health scholarships applications taken

Limited number of Indian Health Service scholarship applications for the academic year 2007-08 are available at the San Carlos Office of Health Education. The three categories are:Health Professions Preparatory program: Pre-nursing, pre-pharmacy, pre-medical, technology, pre-dietetics, pre-social work, pre-engineering, pre-sanitation and pre-clinical.Health Professions Pregraduate Scholarships: Pre-medicine, and pre-podiatry school.
Health Professions Scholarship program: Clinical Dependency Counseling, Clinical Psychology, Coding Specilist, Dentistry, Dental Hygienist, Diagnostic Radiology, Technology, Dietitian, Environmental Health and Engineeriing, Health Care Administration, Health Education, Health Records Administration, Injury Prevention Specialist, Medical Technology, Medicine, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Optometry, Pharmacy, Physician Assistant, Physical Therapy Assistant, Podiatry, Public Health, Public Health Nutrition, Respiratory Therapist, Social Work and Ultrasonagraphy.The deadline to apply is Feb. 28, 2007.
